Navigation Bar

The Navigation bar appears across the top of each AssetWise CONNECT Edition page.

You can click from any page, to return to the AssetWise Homepage.

You can select the menu to toggle display of all available activities in each of the capabilities, for example:

Note that the menu name changes to represent the name of the current capability. For example, if you are currently in the Document Control capability, the menu name displays "Documents".

The categories listed in the menu represent the different functionalities, and their hyperlinks can represent links to features within the application itself, instances of important assets and documents, and even links to external applications.

On the right side of the Navigation bar, are the AssetWise Utilities . These utilities allow you to change the current scope, add and remove items to a basket, invoke online help, perform searches, and work with the user profile and preferences. You can also configure and administer AssetWise CONNECT Edition.

Breadcrumb Navigation

By default, AssetWise displays a breadcrumb trail of the sequence of your activities, directly below the Navigation bar. This allows you to select a hyperlink and return to a previous page to retrace your steps, for example:

Page Content

The Page Content area changes depending on the capability and task you are performing. When you are viewing the AssetWise CONNECT Edition Launch Pad, you will see tiles for each capability that you have installed. When you are within a capability, you will see content that is applicable to the current task you are performing.
